The Bichon Buzz, also commonly known as the Bichon Blitz, is one of the Bichon Frise’s most popular characteristics.

So what is it? These terms describe the sudden bursts of energy that a Bichon Frise dog will sometimes show. In fact, if you are caught off guard, you may just find yourself doubled over with laughter.

No matter how many times I’ve seen the blitz, it always catches me by surprise, and I end up laughing! Bichon blitzes are such fun!

If you would like to see one of these Bichon buzzes, scroll down to watch the video at the bottom of this page.

The Bichon Buzz is sudden and without warning!

Once in buzz mode, the Bichon will start running frantically at full speed throughout your home or yard.

But your dog is not just running. He’s almost always also growling and barking as he merrily races around the house or yard. A buzz can last anywhere from 30 seconds up to 5 minutes.

The Bichon buzz or blitz sudden bursts of energy are usually not predictable and can happen anytime or anywhere–making it all the more fun for you!

The Bichon Blitz Will Have You in Stitches!

Your little Bichon Frise can get really wound up, at times!

When the Bichon Frise gets his buzz on in his home, it is quite hilarious because he will go from one room to the next, jumping on and off couches, beds, love seats, or chairs.

And, if you happen to be sitting on one of these items of furniture, you can quite assuredly expect to catch the brunt of Bichon feet kicking you in the mid-section of your body. Just as your white, fluffy friend races off to his next destination.

But don’t fret. After your Bichon Frise dog has spent his energy, he will lie down and collapse from exhaustion.

In our home, since we live with 3 Bichons, we get to experience the Buzz quite frequently.

Often, when one of our Bichons gets into Bichon buzz mode, it will energize and excite the other two and they will join in. During these times, it gets really crazy but it is great for a good laugh.

Bichon Buzz Video

This Bichon Buzz video will show you what a Bichon buzz looks like. Note how calm the other dog is (on the sofa), in contrast to the little Bichon.

As you probably already know, these great little white dogs are special creatures. They have a personality of their own, and they require your love and affection.

In return your Bichon will give you many hours of fun and entertainment–including the incredibly funny Bichon buzz!  You’ll find a few more cute videos here.
